Aura Meditation

Updated: Sep 4, 2020

Grounding and centering. Grounding is our connection with the center of our body and earth. Alternatively, our physical connection between our electrical frequencies and earth’s. We focus on the present resulting in feeling more balanced and aware. Grounding yourself can help you feel calm, peaceful and centered. In this technique, we can release unwanted energy down to the earth’s core. Focus your energy on a downward flow in the grounding.

Centering is being present and aware of the center of your head. With this, we become aware of ourselves and others without judgment. We enter a state of higher consciousness. We respond to life and make choices, rather than react. It allows us to sit through the emotional feeling, strengthening our self-mastery of controlling our responses to life. From the center of our heads, we can unlock our own answers.

Prepare the space, prepare yourself.

Notice yourself before the meditation. Focus on your well being and become aware of your existence. If you can, try to how you experience yourself before doing the aura meditation exercise.

Find a quiet, comfortable place for yourself, somewhere you will not be disturbed. Create a relaxing atmosphere. You may want to light a candle, light incense, or play some quiet, soothing music in the background. Begin to relax in general. Take some deep breaths and some light stretching. Sit upright in a comfortable position with an open posture.

Focus and create a cord of energy between your hips and the center of the planet. Here, you will ground yourself. After you have grounded yourself, being the centering exercise. This can be done either with your eyes opened focused on nature or from the within. I want to hear from you about your experience! Reach out to me if you tried this or have questions.
